A Detroit Diesel marine engine, type 12V-149T is installed as a sand pump driving unit.


Under normal weather conditions and location at sea, they are able to fill the hopper cargo hold with 2146 m³ of sand within approximately 1.30 hrs.

A Detroit Diesel marine engine, type 12V-149N is used as the jet pump driving unit.
This unit is part of the loading system. It enhances the suction capacity on the sea bottom.

A Detroit Diesel marine engine, type 16V-92 NA, with a Masson gear box,
type RSD–281, ratio 2,96:1.
