About Pool Trading B.V.

Sliedrecht is a city known for its dredgers worldwide. Pool Trading B.V. is located on the water near the harbour of Sliedrecht, and is approximately 25 miles east of Rotterdam, the industrial heart of the main shipping port in Europe.
 

The two Managing Directors who are in daily control of the company are Dirk Blom and Henk de Koning. Dirk and Henk have their roots in the engine and shipbuilding industry. Dirk's experience and knowledge, has been gained from the world of Detroit Diesel engines dealing in all types of applications. Henk’s comprehensive background has been in the designing and engineering of the shipbuilding industry.
 
We are a trading company that is involved in diesel technology. Our main activities are in versatile marine and industrial applications, particularly concentrating on used diesel engines, gear boxes/transmissions and engine components. Pool Trading B.V. provides units in 3 categories: 

• Rebuilt

• Good running

• Core

Dirk and Henk have over 20 years each of experience in handling the following brands of equipment:

• Engines: Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, Cummins also European brands for example, DAF, Deutz, MAN, MTU, MWM, Mercedes, Scania and Volvo Penta.

• Gear boxes: Twin-disc, Allison, Lohm & Stolterf, Masson, Reintjes, Rockford, and Z.F.
