Pool Trading B.V. is a trading company primarily specialized in used diesel equipment, concentrating on both marine and industrial applications. We supply an extensive range of used, new and reconditioned:

• Diesel Engines
• Generatorsets
• Gearboxes & PTO's
• Spare Parts & Engine Components

Our office is responsible for the daily purchase and sale of used equipment around the globe. We have over twenty years expertise in the diesel world and marine related business and pride ourselves in our extensive, long-term clientele database.

Three skilled mechanics are at our disposal, in order to check, run-test, rebuilt or repair our used engines, gearboxes and gen-sets. They dispose of a new, well-equipped 1.600 m² workshop with two 25 ton overhead cranes. The majority of our engines and gearboxes have been subject to a thorough inspection and test run. On the basis of these inspections and tests our products are valuated.

What sets us apart from our competition is the fact that we house a very large stock of engines, gearboxes, gensets, components and spare parts. This makes us one of the main players in Europe. With increasing export numbers, Pool Trading B.V. has been serving the European, South East Asian as well as the American market for several years and continues to grow significantly.

History

Sliedrecht is a city known for its dredgers worldwide. Founded in the mid 90's, Pool Trading B.V., is located at the harbour of Sliedrecht, approximately 25 kilometres east of Rotterdam, the industrial heart of the main shipping port in Europe.

The founders of Pool Trading are Dirk Blom and Henk de Koning. Both Dirk and Henk have their roots in the engine and shipbuilding industry. Dirk's experience and knowledge is gained from the world of Detroit Diesel engines, dealing in all types of applications. Henk's comprehensive background has been in the designing and engineering of the shipbuilding industry.
